By far my favourite Korean restaurant in Dubai. You can have authentic korean food (stews, stir fry, marinated meat) and also do Korean BBQ. The price is a bit higher than other Korean restaurants but you are paying for the quality here. Highly recommend.
Have you ever considered trying Korean Cuisine? My niece is a big fan of Korean famous Bank BTS and due to her love for BTS she got into knowing Korean cuisine. She recommended us to try and find some authentic best Korean restaurant in Dubai. We started our research and eventually found out Sonamu. Why Sonamu? Because James (The Head Chef) has served the VIPs of Korea and definitely he is no joke
This was our first ever expereince of Korean food and before I go into detail of food I must tell you after Thai, Korean cuisine has become one of my favourite due to their unique cooking techniques.
We started of with Starters like Salmon Salad, Tofu with Kimchi, kimbap (Korean Sushi). Every thing served really had those flavors which we needed to understand the true culture of Korea
Then we moved to mains where we tried Black Cod which was just perfect, the Tkeokbokki which was good but it was difficult for us to chew rice cake and finally the show stopper which we were waiting for the whole night ‘The famous Korean Bbq’.
We are not joking when we tell you that their Korean BBQ was the most delicious bbq I ever had, their beef briskets were simply amazing and we would want to have it over and over again.
We would definitely rate it a 5 star based on their tasty and high quality food with the true flavours of Korea, the vibrant ambiance and friendly people serving you.
When it comes to Far East Asian food, Chinese or Japanese is the option which comes to our mind naturally. But Korean cuisine is definitely a superior choice and if you are looking for an authentic Korean barbeque, Sonamu is something you should consider. It will spoil you with choices. Must try would be the Galbi, you will definitely come back for more!!! Weekends (Thursdays & Fridays) you are in for a treat with a Grand Buffet and it is truly worth the money. The service is a bit slow. Enjoy this delicious trip to Korea!

Sophisticated interior design!!! I love! Service was a bit slow. But when the food came, it was amazing!!! Korean BBQ, side dishes – all I came for were fulfilled. We highly recommend this place. Specially for group of people. This can be a good place as the place is vast.

Beautifully designed restaurant, decor is 5 stars. Amazing and authentic Korean food in Dubai. The menu has a vast selection of individual dishes however if you cannot make up your mind, you can go for the set menu that has everything (starters, main, deserts). You can also opt for the Korean BBQ. I’ve always wanted to try it and might do so in my next trip there. Highly recommended!!
مطعم مصمم بشكل جميل، الديكور 5 نجوم. طعام كوري مذهل وأصيل في دبي. القائمة لديها مجموعة واسعة من الأطباق الفردية ولكن إذا كنت لا تستطيع أن تجعل عقلك، يمكنك الذهاب لقائمة مجموعة التي لديها كل شيء (مبتدئين، الرئيسية، الصحاري). يمكنك أيضا اختيار للشواء الكورية. لقد أردت دائما أن تحاول ذلك ، وربما تفعل ذلك في رحلتي المقبلة هناك. يوصي!!
